- 4. ABSTRACT Nowadays, the economy is developing more and more in advanced and modern trend. Employment issues are increasingly competitive. Candidates not only need degrees and theoretical knowledge but they must also have a lot of practical experience and extensive knowledge gained through the process of training in reality. Therefore, the graduation practice is a valuable opportunity for students to practice and accumulate practical experience. The graduation practice helps students shape their work environment and find out their shortcomings for revision to succeed in the future. Understanding the importance of the internship, I thoroughly studied my skills and my strengths to choose the right practice job. Through the process of analysis and exploration, with good communication and handle situations ability, I realized that the assistant director job is best for me. So, I applied for internship registration as an assistant director at regional companies. Fortunately, I was admitted to practice at FPT Telecom Join-stock Company in the position I desired. This is one of the largest companies in information technology - telecommunications in Vietnam. During the 3 weeks of internship, I had set out three main goals that I must achieve to complete my practice well: 1. Get the credibility of the superiors. 2. Understanding well about the job of assistant director. 3. Improve my ability and recognize the missing points to repair.

- 8. I. INTRODUCTION Assistant is a complex job, requires a lot of good qualities. In addition to a well- rounded general knowledge, an assistant needs to have personal qualities such as carefulness, work ingenuity, soft skills like communication skills, time management, writing... The assistant is the person who thinks and outlines the strategic direction, they are also the ones who receive, understand and implement them most effectively. However, not everyone can do this. An assistant is the person who is capable of working independently, planning, handling situations well, being under pressure, having extensive knowledge in a wide range of areas and other business environments. To be an assistant not only require a solid expertise and skills in the candidate's job but also requires the ability to be self-sufficient and calm in countless situations of life. An assistant is the manager's right hand to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with the ultimate goal is help the director accomplish his or her job. In addition, the assistant is a facilitator for the director in decision making, implementation and monitoring; Provides more time and alertness to the director so that he can look through the observation, market research, competitors, etc., to have a strategic direction for the company. Assistant superintendent is a perfect start for those who want to assert themselves in the long journey of management.
