- #5: Do your research. Plan on paper. Think about your audience. Rehearse your presentation. Tell a story, not a bunch of facts.
- #21: Use a SIMPLE, consistent design and color scheme. Use white space. High contrast. Nothing extra or distracting. No more than 2 fonts. SANS serif.
- #23: We process faster and remember more visually. We will learn more if you stimulate more of our senses. We read faster than you talk, so don’t make us read from your slides. We need information to be organized in chunks. We need breaks about every 10 minutes. We don’t pay attention to boring things.
