There are three main types of tropical climates: tropical moist, tropical wet-dry, and tropical dry. Tropical moist climates have heavy rainfall year-round with warm temperatures and high humidity, supporting rainforests and species like golden toads and cheetahs. Tropical wet-dry climates contain distinct wet and dry seasons, while tropical dry climates receive little precipitation and are found in regions like northern Mexico, Africa, and Australia, containing plants and animals adapted to arid conditions like camels.
