We hypothesized that the worms would move faster as the light increased. When looking at the
behavior chart, you can tell that not only they moved slower as the light increased, they also showed
signs of early paralysis. When the light was dark, the first worm moved faster and further than the rest.
Worm #1 stayed with the barrier and wasn t bothered by the light. Worm #2 moved diagonally from
the light as if it were blind. Worm #3 did not move until after 60 seconds. Worm #4 moved faster
towards the 4 inch mark then stopped and turned back to start line. The data provided shows that the
hypothesis was wrong.
Conclusions
Unlike what was predicted, the worms moved slower each time the light power increased. When the
worms were exposed to the bright lights, that replicated the sun. When worms are in the sun for too

theorized that when the worms saw the flashlight, they were stunned, and/ or thought they were in

The infinite is a concept that is difficult for man to comprehend, yet in Jorge Luis Borges short story
The Garden of Forking Paths he does such a fantastic job of describing this idea of infinity and its
effect on mankind through his explanation of a labyrinth. This short story also can be used as
somewhat of a lens while reading Fun Home by Alison Bechdel. Borges story begins with frame
narrative but both stories are, for the most part, told from a first person point of view. This aspect of
point of view is very helpful in supporting the idea of infinite possibilities and infinite universes. By
writing their stories from a first person point of view Bechdel and Borges give their readers a glimpse
into the idea that each action, however little that action or decision may be, always has a reaction that

The Marxist viewpoint on the family revolves around a capitalist society and believes that the nuclear
family is not a functionally necessary institution, although it is probably the best suited. However,
Marxists believe that the family bases itself upon private property and profit, whereby men marry and
