BEST PRACTICES • Being an unique department across India, EPH department at CUTN plays pivotal role in disseminating knowledge and create awareness about several health issues faced by women, child and adults. • In this connection we organised several awareness programme on breast feeding practices, mental health awareness, health camps for elderly and women in association with the health centre, CUTN • Recently we also got a grant from Department of Science and Technology (2021) for capacity building and up holding public health of the people of Tiruvarur. We are going to target around 500 beneficiaries from Tiruvarur district for their livelihood enhancement and creating awareness about diseases transmitted from animals
