This document outlines the requirements for Project 2 of an introductory design course. The project has two parts:
1) A "Mood Cube" group project where students translate words into 3D forms using shapes, colors, and materials over 3 stages.
2) An individual miniature toy display box incorporating design elements. Students will present final models and explanation boards.
The objectives are to understand design principles and apply skills to assignments. On completion, students will be able to explain design element applications and the design process. The project involves several stages including understanding words, transforming words into 3D models, using color, and materials to express the words.
