This document outlines the design of an employment matching service that utilizes both digital and in-person tools. The digital tool would be a website that matches job candidates to employers based on profiles, tests, and criteria. It would allow online profiles, resources and video interviews. The in-person tool would be speed dating style events that allow short interactions between candidates and employers in an informal setting. An initial paper prototype was created and tested, receiving mixed feedback. Based on this, the designer plans to rework the idea, build more detailed prototypes, and test with a wider audience to further refine the design.
