This document discusses principles for designing an organizational culture that fosters co-creation and open innovation. It outlines 7 design principles: 1) intentionally design for open innovation, 2) stop managing and start curating distributed creativity, 3) raise the collaboration IQ and innovation intuition of teams, 4) piggyback on the existing culture, 5) orchestrate simple interventions that lead to collaborative innovation, 6) focus on grassroots efforts where culture lives, and 7) transition towards self-organization. The goal is to harness people's innate abilities to collaborate and innovate by changing organizational mindsets and structures.
