TEAM PROFILE
• 'Hightech Creator's' We will explain about how the homes will be in future
through technologies . How advanced will it become. How comfortable will it
become. How resourceful will it become. Can homes be smarter, more
sustainable and incorporate new technologies.
INTRODUCTION
• A green home is with environmentally friendly materials and sustainably built,
with a focus on the efficient use of water and energy.
• Green homes use energy-efficient appliances and strategic
insulation/ventilation methods to reduce artificial heating and cooling.
• The home can be called smart when it has a range of smart devices that you
can control remotely by setting them the way you like to automatic house
maintenance. They can also be united into one network.
• It provides all the devices with internet access which broadens the possibilities
of such a home network. Google Home or Amazon’s Alexa helps to manage
smart devices reacting to your voice commands.
KEY POINTS OF
DIFFERNTITATION
Smart/Automated Home
• It consist of multimedia lights, room
security
• We can control our house from anywhere
• sensors, microprocessors, and controls that
communicate with network, data storage,
controls, software, an embedded operating
system
• It incorporates smart devices into running
many parts of the home seamlessly by
themselves without human direction.
Normal Home
• It is just a normal room lights and security
is prevent by a key
• We can't control it all is an hand-on-hands
• A switch board and a person
• It depends on human being that how they
control everyday home functions with their
own.
OPERATIONAL AVAILABILITY
• Smart home provides, security, energy efficiency, low operating costs and convenience.
Installation of smart products provide convenience and savings of time, money and
energy. Such systems are adaptive and adjustable to meet the ongoing changing needs of
the home residents.
• The basic architecture enables measuring home conditions, process instrumented data,
utilizing microcontroller-enabled sensors for measuring home conditions and actuators
for monitoring home embedded devices.
• The popularity and penetration of the smart home concept is growing in a good pace, as
it became part of the modernization and reduction of cost trends. This is achieved by
embedding the capability to maintain a centralized event log, execute machine learning
processes to provide main cost elements, saving recommendations and other useful
reports.
OPERATIONAL AVAILABILITY
• Smart home is the residential extension of building automation and involves the control
and automation of all its embedded technology. It defines a residence that has
appliances, lighting, heating, air conditioning, TVs, computers, entertainment systems,
big home appliances such as washers/dryers and refrigerators/freezers, security and
camera systems capable of communicating with each other and being controlled
remotely by a time schedule, phone, mobile or internet.
• These systems consist of switches and sensors connected to a central hub controlled by
the home resident using wall-mounted terminal or mobile unit connected to internet
cloud services.
• Classic smart home, internet of things, cloud computing and rule-based event
processing, are the building blocks of our proposed advanced smart home integrated
compound. Each component contributes its core attributes and technologies to the
proposed composition.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• How the Complex IoT Architecture Magnifies Cyber Risks
• IoT creates a bigger network of devices, which adds to the associated risks. In simple terms,
there are more than 3 billion mobile users globally and almost 8 billion IoT devices. So, you
can imagine the enormity of the network that can be compromised or hacked. When it comes
to smart homes, imagine the gravity of the threat.
• For instance, a user connecting his smart light with his app is giving away the information of
his
• Presence at home,
• When he leaves his home
• And, when he reaches another location
• He is exposing himself to an unintended compromise. A potential hacker can not only access
his personal information but can also sneak into the home network and access endless
amounts of information! So, while we develop the smart home automation app, we must take
extra precautions, making sure the controller, device data, and the cloud are unhackable.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• A Lot Of Complex Vulnerabilities With Smart Home App
• Think of a large scale home security surveillance. Once the attackers get hold of the
device, the results can be devastating! He could alter data and make way for his
entrance. So, there is still some ambiguity in understanding the vulnerabilities and the
seriousness of the threat.
• For every IoT project, especially smart home automation app, it is imperative to design
your project and keep a security model in mind. And, you must never underestimate the
risks that come with IoT devices.
• We start sharing a physical footprint
• Smart homes will be able to know when to turn off the light the moment you leave the
room, deactivate the lock with your face recognition
• The use of security cameras people are using it to have an eye on their property.
• Smart devices, will handel energy conservation, appliance diagnostics, and the
prevention of damages that take place during natural disasters.
• Control kitchen and home appliances using an app, through ai, iot.
• It will save time, save money, it is a one time investment, and improves the quality of
life and the standard of living.
• New technology developments entail, smart home automation is not just about
entertainment but it covers other important aspects related to our daily life — it comes
with the potential to change our lives for the better.
