Digital Dynamic Markers in augmented Reality
 Milgram coined the term “Augmented
Virtuality” to identify systems which are mostly
synthetic with some real world imagery
added such as texture mapping video onto
        virtual objects

                                 Mixed Reality (MR)
.

     Real Augmented Augmented Virtual
Environment Reality (AR) Virtuality (AV) Environment
Digital Dynamic Markers in augmented Reality
• ” Human Interaction With
3D Objects Via, AR ” is the
    very first step of the
    development of the
    project

• In this module we will
    demonstrating human
    interaction with a cube
    generated.

• In this phase we have
    succeeded to generate a
    cube & had given some
motion to it by moving the
    marker.
• Marker is the stage where a virtual objects are
    augmented

• They must be square.

• They must have a continuous border

• They must sit on background of contrasting color.

• The final constraint is that the area inside the
border, which we refer to as the marker image,
    must not be rotationally symmetric
• This concept is used to augment multiple objects at
    the same time

• Multiple markers are recognized by a pattern
    called as pat file

• The cameras can identify and distinguish this
    marker using .pat file

• The .pat file consists of co-ordinates of a marker
    generated by another application

• The concept is used to make real time
    augmentation
• Traditional Markers are printed on a paper making
    it uneditable.

• They are not programmable

• Reduces the time efficiency of program

• Limits the no. of markers to be places in front of
    webcam

• Unable to generate real-time effects
• It is digital in nature • Will support principles
• As many no. of POP, OOP & RDBMS.
markers can be • It will give improved
    generated and can imaging &
    be stored in system visualization.
• It will give realtime • It will support direct
    effects interaction with virtual
• It is dynamic objects generated by
                                  computer.
• It is Programmable
                              • It will support concepts
                                  of surface computing.
• Software Requirements
      • JDK 1.6
     • Netbeans IDE 6.5 and above
     • Java Media Framework (API)
     • java 3D architecture etc.

• Hardware Requirements
• High Speed Computer (High Configuration)
• 3 GB or more RAM
• Graphic Card
• Web Cams & CC TV camaras
• Infrared beamers
• IR Filter Cameras
• Surface Computing System(alternative)
