- 2. Hair Length* • HH – Hh short hair (dominant trait) • hh long hair (recessive trait) * Yes I realize that this is not an actual heritable trait. Just go with it.

- 4. The Parents • Both parents are heterozygous for both traits. • Hh Rr

- 8. Since both the parents had the same genotype, we only needed to foil one parent. This rarely happens. Now we place each parent’s alleles on the Punnett square. I usually place the father on the top and the mother on the side. They will be color coded so that you can tell the difference.
