- 1. Synopsis It is a warm and sunny Thursday evening. Max, Harry, and Rob live together in student accommodation in London. They are sat out on the balcony watching the sun set and talking about their coursework. While waiting for their tea to cook, Harry receives a notification on his phone. It is an advert for a Lego Festival taking place in Leicester Square, London next weekend. Rob and Harry decide that they would like to go, but Max is unsure. Where could the scene be filmed? The scene is set on the balcony of a student accommodation building in London. The balcony is made up of black coloured railings, grey coloured decking, and plain white walls with a sliding door. What are the characters wearing? Max is wearing blue denim shorts, a pair of grey blue lace up trainers and a white and blue checked short sleeve shirt. Harry is wearing a plain orange short sleeve t-shirt, along with grey coloured jeans and a pair of grey coloured Velcro trainers. Rob is wearing a red and black checked long sleeve shirt along with a pair of grey coloured jeans and a pair of black lace up trainers. What do they look like? Max has short dark hair and is 6ft tall. Harry also has short dark hair and is 5ft 7 inches tall. Rob has short blond hair and is 6ft tall. Props • 3 Cans of Coca-Cola • 1 Mobile Phone Lighting The lighting used in the scene would me natural light as it will be filmed outside while the sun is setting. Sound The Diegetic sound used in the scene will be the characters voices and the sound of a mobile phone notification. The scene will also feature non-diegetic sound of cars passing from a distance in the background, to show that the scene is set in a busy city.

Shot Number Shot Type Camera Angle Framing Description 001 Full View High Angle Max will be on the left of the frame; Rob will be in the middle of the frame and Harry will be on the right of the frame. Max and Rob are lying on the sun loungers, each drinking a can of Coca-Cola, while Harry is sat at the patio table with a can of Coca-Cola in his hand. The camera will pan upwards and look over the balcony. 002 Close Up Eye Level Harry will be on the right of the frame. Harry’s phone makes a noise notifying him that he has received a Facebook notification. He gets his phone out of his jeans pocket and looks at it. 003 Full View Eye Level Max will be on the left of the frame and Rob will be on the right of the frame. Max and Rob look over to Harry and ask what the notification is about. 004 Full View Eye Level Harry will be on the left of the frame. Harry explains that he has received a notification about ‘The Lego Festival’ taking place in Leicester Square over the weekend. 005 Full View Eye Level Max will be on the left of the frame and Rob will be on the right of the frame. Rob looks excited while Max doesn’t look too happy about it. 006 Medium Close Up Eye Level Rob will be on the left of the frame with his back towards the camera. Harry Harry looks excited, but then his face drops slightly, as he notices that Max

Rob turns around and looks at Max when Harry asks Max what his doubts are. 007 Close Up Eye Level Max will be on the of the frame facing the camera. Max explains that he is a little nervous about going to an event which could have a potentially large gathering. 008 Medium Close Up Eye Level Rob will be on the left of the frame and Harry will be on the right of the frame. Harry walks over to Max Rob sits up in his sun lounger. 009 Full View Eye Level Harry will be on the left of the frame, and Max and Rob will be on the right of the frame. Harry sits down in the chair next to Max. Harry and Rob try to reassure Max that everything will be ok, but he doesn’t have to go if he doesn’t want to. 010 Close Up Eye Level Max will be on the right of the frame. Max comes around to the idea of going to The Lego Festival, and he says he will go if Rob and Harry are going to. 011 Close Up Eye Level Harry will be on the left of the frame. Harry assures Max that he will go to The Lego Festival with him. 012 Close Up Eye Level Rob will be on the right of the frame. Rob assures Max that he will go to The Lego Festival with him too. 013 Close Up Eye Level Max will be on the left of the frame. Max decides he will go to The Lego Festival.
- 4. 014 Full View Eye Level Harry will be on the left of the frame, and Max and Rob will be on the right of the frame. Rob and Harry are happy that Max has decided to go with them, and they all look excited. 015 Full View Eye Level Harry will be on the left of the frame, and Max and Rob will be on the right of the frame. The timer on the oven ‘pings. Harry and Rob go inside to look at tea, while Max begins to tidy up the balcony. 016 Close Up Eye Level Max will be on the left of the frame. Max’s face drops as he is still a little unsure about going to The Lego Festival. End Scene
