The Digital Immigrants Survival Toolkit (DIST) project aims to enhance the digital competencies of disadvantaged adults, specifically 'digital immigrants', enabling them to participate actively in a digital society. The initiative involves a consortium of five partners, including the University of Porto, which focuses on providing education and inclusion for adults with lower education levels across Europe. Objectives include creating 15 training modules based on practical topics, utilizing innovative educational approaches, and publishing these resources as open educational resources (OER) for broader accessibility.
