This document summarizes David Jukes-Hughes' 1992 master's thesis which proposed the design of the Constable Gallery at the Tate museum in London to house the works of English painter John Constable. The thesis discussed the site for the proposed gallery, provided floor plans and diagrams of the design, and concluded that a permanent home for Constable's collection could be located at the Tate. In a 2006 foreword, the author expressed some doubts about housing an entire collection in one place due to security risks but remained supportive of the idea with some modifications to the architectural design.
