IT Loses Control Provisioning and management of cloud resources begins to happen outside of IT. Policy and security come second to the speed and flexibility of DevOps. Provisioning Happens The “CMP” can’t keep up with the change in cloud technology. DevOps goes around IT and access cloud directly (again). Attempt to Regain Control IT implements a “Cloud Management Platform” in an attempt to regain control via a central provisioning platform.
