- 2. @UCAM UN tvERsl DE DAD CÀTóL¡CÀ preparation of materials for Summer school on EU Project Management (June 20r6) During his period in EURADA, the trainee attended meetings in Brussels representing the European Association of Development Agencies to identify opportunities for members of EURADA. The trainee contributed to the internationalisation of the activities of the association making possible, after a meeting with the vice President of Beijing Electronics and a first visit to CEEVO95 in Cergy-Pointoise (France), to deploy a clear strategy cooperation with China (June 2016). The trainee had a meeting in OECD to analise the new EC's initiative of a budget for results. Furthermore, the trainee attended a meeting to prepare a bid for the European Commission leaded by the Dutch consultancy firm ECORYS group in Brussels (May 2016), the kick-off meeting of the Beyond-EDP project supported by Interreg Europe Programme in Orleans (June 2016). Moreover, the trainee participated in the Week of Innovative Regions (WIRE) organised by DG RTD of the European Commission (June 2016) in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). One a daily basis the trainee was cooperate in the analysis of relevant sources of information for regional development agencies and the transmission of opportunities to EURADA's members through the special dedicated communication platform (e-reminders) and social networks. Knowledge, skills (intellectual and practical) and competences acquired (learning outcomes achieved) : The trainee has obtained knowledge and improved his intellectual and practical skills in terms of communication with officers of the European Commission and other relevant staff of EU institutions. He has been able to have direct contacts with top managers of EU Regional Development Agencies, highly recognised experts of regional development like Christian Saublens and also with prominent researchers such as Dominique Foray from the Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne or Kevin Morgan from the University of Cardiff. The trainee had a direct access to the direction of EURADA, to the staff and also to the main stakeholders. Every Monday the trainee was having a meeting with the Director of EURADA to plan the tasks of the week and evaluate the achievements of the week. KIJ
