- 12. What does it take to release beta? 24h code freeze - first try from Sunday midnight Monday was beta testing day - we found 4 beta-blockers People worked like crazy Last beta-blocker was solved during Driesnote! 24h code freeze - and Drupal 8 beta was out finally!
- 13. What does beta phase mean? Time to port contribs to Drupal 8 Getting things into core is harder Time to test & give feedback!

- 15. After all critical issues have been solved we relase RC1 If no new criticals have been discovered Drupal 8 will be released
- 16. 200 beta-blockers took 9 months 125 critical issues left with same speed ~7 months for RC1 Never ever base your business on any given Drupal 8 date!

- 26. Why? Move Drupal faster further - everyone benefits! Would remove unnecessary burn out from core developers
