Dneprotechservice scientific and production group comprises a group of
Ukrainian machine-building enterprises.
Specialization of the Group - development, production, selling and
maintenance of equipment, machines and facilities, creation of technologies for
enterprises of cosmic and aviation branch, for enterprises of ore-dressing,
metallurgic, coke-chemical, oil and gas, electrotechnical, automobile industry,
energy and building industry, underground and mines, railroad and marine
terminals.
The group’s management company - Dneprotechservice scientific and
production firm – was founded on December 18, 1992. At the moment of its
formation the company was engaged in rolled metal and ferrous metal pipes
sale. The company became one of the key players in the pipe market. It created
a network of storehouses and representative offices on the territory of Russian
Federation and Belarus.
In seven years after it was created, in 2000, Dneprotechservice started
active consolidation of industrial enterprises’ majority shareholdings, it
undertook responsibility for thousands of employees, for maintenance and
development of enterprises of national importance. On the threshold of its tenth
birthday Dneprotechservice built an integrated system – Dneprotechservice
scientific and production group. The company itself became the management
company of the group – it determined the group’s development strategy and
made investments, formed and implemented unified standards and acted as the

«Cyclon-4»
Within the frames of implementation of International Ukrainian
and Brazil cosmic project «Cyclon-4» as for starting of space
rockets from the Alkantara space-launch complex the
enterprise creates
aggregates of startup complex combined in startup module:
- launching pad with gas duct and test cargo element;
- transport and erection equipment;
- erector;
- buffer self-propelled platform with transport system of
thermostatic control;
- cargo model of space rocket;
- housings of utilities joining devices;
aggregates and equipment of technical complex: stationary
stand of head block assembly and 70 names (98 units) of
equipment for maintenance of carrier rocket and head
block.
Feature of the «Cyclon-4» project is that it is for the first
time all the space rocket complex from rocket up to ground
equipment is developed and manufactured by enterprises of
Ukraine.

It is for the first in world practice within the frames of «Cyclon-4» project realization PC
«Dneprotyazhmash» creates test field under brand name «Sukhoy cosmodrom» - plant test
complex in its territory. This complex is intended for complex combined treatment of aggregates
and surface system assemblies providing preparation to starting and launching of space rockets
before their delivery to place of operation – Alkantara space-launch complex (Brazil) what will
allow considerably reduce terms of space-launch complex commissioning and minimize technical
expenses connected with necessity for modification and adjustment of aggregates and systems
supplied to different enterprises.
At plant test complex there will be complex tests of startup complex aggregates combined
in launch module (launch pad with gas duct and test cargo element; erection aggregate;
transport and erection equipment; buffer self-propelled platform with transport system of
thermostatic control; cargo model of space rocket; housings of utilities joining devices), together
with launching configurations (system of automatic remote control of rocket launching,
compressed gas supply system, system of prestarting measurements, set of joint components
for communications between ground support equipment and carrier rocket).
After completion of program of «Cyclon-4» space rocket complex treatment potential
possibilities of the plant test complex will allow to carry out treatment of equipment of ground
complexes for prospective carrier rockets created by cooperation of Ukrainian enterprises, but
received experience and qualification of specialists will be successfully applied in new
international projects.
Plant test complex «Sukhoy cosmodrom»
«Taurus-II»
PC «Dneprotyazhmash» is a participant in realization of International Ukrainian-Americal
project as for space rocket complex for «Taurus-II» space rocket. Mechanical ground processing
equipment designed for assembly of space rocket in the following content: stand of joint of
space rocket components; sets of integration carts, loading grippers, service facilities and
auxiliary equipment were developed and manufactured at the enterprise and delivered to the
Customer after factory tests.
All the equipment in amount of 31 units was delivered to USA, mounted on site and at this
moment it is used for assembly operations with «Taurus-II» space rocket at the Uollaps space-
launch complex.

Dnepropetrovsk Rolling Rolls Plant had been 115 in November
2011. In recent times new production technologies were tried out and
new rolls’ types for further manufacturing at other plants were created
at DChVZ (the plant’s name up to year 1981) as part of the Union’s
Ministry.
Nowadays the cast-iron rolls with ДЗПВ (DRRP) trademark are
well known to metallurgists from most of the largest enterprises of
Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Cuba, England, Poland
and many other countries.
DRRP PJSC produces cast-iron rolls for modern section, tubular
and sheet hot-rolling mills, non-metallurgical rolls and plungers.
The range of products includes rolls and rollers from several
tens of kilos up to 25 tons in weight, with maximum body diameter up
to 1,300 mm, up to 6 m in length, with Shore hardness of working layer
up to 80 units, made of cast-irons with flaked and spheroidal graphite
forms, plain and with cast passes.
With the aim to meet requirements of customers and increase
competitiveness of manufactured products, investment projects (within
the frames of which installation of equipment implementation of forming
rolls center die casting technology is carried out) and modernization of
rolling and casting production are realized at PC «Dnepropetrovsk
Rolling Rolls Plant».

A workshop section for rolls’ thermal treatment with the furnaces construction where the latest technical
achievements are embodied was commissioned at DPFR OJSC. Artificial aging and, if necessary, correction of forming rolls’
material structure is conducted through thermal treatment. The quality of thermal treatment is controlled through residual
strains in the roll measuring using a coercimeter.
Quality control is performed at all production stages; it includes chemical composition, structure, hardness
and geometrical dimensions of the rolls control. The implemented spun casting technology involves extension of these
operations: in particular, roll working layer and core weldability control and other casting defects presence testing. At the
Customer’s request mechanical properties of the rolls’ material are measured.
So the whole technology is subordinated to one goal – production of forming rolls with unique properties,
satisfying the Customers’ requirements to the maximum.

In 2008 Sinelnikovo Spring Plant PJSC celebrated its 105th
anniversary as a leading Ukrainian producer of leaf springs for auto
vehicles and tractors, with established serial production of springs for all
types automobiles manufactured in CIS and others countries.

Research and Development enterprise «NIKE» is a specialized
enterprise as for development and production of honeycomb fillers
from different materials and constructions on the basis honeycomb
fillers. The enterprise is a unique according to the range of
manufactured honeycombs from aluminum foil, polymeric paper,
glass cloth, cellulose (extra-strong) paper. Honeycomb fillers of
development and production of LLC RDE «NIKE» are used in
rocket- and aircraft engineering. The enterprise possesses
methodic of optimization of large-sized honeycomb constructions
for different purposes according to mass; it creates exclusive
honeycomb filler.
More than 60 types of honeycomb fillers from aluminum foil,
polymeric paper «Nomex», glass-cloth, kraft paper are opened up.

“Metallurgavtomatica” Ukrainian National Research and

The company was established in December 1999. Beginning from
2000, Transenergoservice Ltd is the participant of Dnieprotechservice
Scientific & Production Group (SPG).
Originally, the main line of activities of Transenergoservice Ltd was sale
of special equipment for gas industry, and natural gas supply to consumers
at unregulated tariffs.
Beginning from 2004, Transenergoservice Ltd. has been engaged in
construction and operation of Compressed Natural Gas Stations for motor
vehicles. The first of them was opened in April 2006 in Dnipropetrovsk,
close to the transport entrance checkpoint of Dneprotiazhmash PJSC, and
was the joint project of Transenergoservice Ltd., Dnieprotechservice
Scientific& Production Firm (SPF) LLC. and Dneprotiazhmash PJSC. The
second station is opened in urban village Pokrovskoye of Dnepropetrovsk
region in 2008.
Compressed Natural Gas Station (CNGS) is designed for vehicle refueling
with compressed natural gas (methane). State-of-the-art equipment
manufactured by GALILEO (Argentina) provides high-quality and rapid
refueling of motor vehicles. All advanced and energy-saving technologies
were implemented in constructing the CNGS, and complete process
automation and maximum operational safety were provided as well.
In future Transenergoservice Ltd. plans to open a few similar stations
throughout Dnipropetrovsk and other regions of Ukraine.

BENEFITS OF USE OF COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS AS A MOTOR FUEL :
- saving of funds spent by enterprises to maintain their own car fleet (cost of 1 m3 of gas substituting 1.2 liters
of gasoline is twice lower than that of gasoline);
- 1.5 times increased engine life time and its service life;
- 30-40% reduced consumption of engine oils;
- possibility of operating vehicles both on gas and gasoline, with switching over from one fuel to another in
motion directly from compartment;
- one of the most promising ways of improvement of environmental situation;
- antitheft performance capabilities of gas equipment installed on injector vehicles: by disconnecting easily
detachable switch, one can securely lock supply of both fuels in case of any attempt of unauthorized starting of
engine;
- minimum wear. Subject to proper operation of equipment, the overhaul period up to the replacement of
rubber goods will be at least 5 years.
