Form of Assessment – collection of evidence to show how you can achieve outcomes – i.e. RPL Presentation of work/s - to show potential to employers / clients Personal Development planning – weigh up achievements against goals Personal Learning – record of life long learning

The individual user owns the E-portfolio & the owner decides who to share with Can have private sections i.e. journal Can share with select groups via a password Can share with the world Who Provides E-Portfolios Can be Government Educational Departments Can be Educational institutes Can be Commercial Companies
- 4. E-Portfolio What should an E-folio contain? There is no set rule, but some common uses include: Formal Learning – Pull together records and or examples of work from multiple Educational institutions and / or multiple courses, copies of certificates, transcripts Informal Learning – Showcase skills & knowledge learnt through your career or other experiences with the use of photos, video clips or documents Employment History – records of employers, position descriptions, references etc Personal Achievements – awards, volunteer work, hobbies etc

E-folios allow the user to store social, educational and or Vocational material in an easy to use, ever evolving & metamorphosing , customizable entity The use of E-folios is driving teaching more towards being expert facilitated rather than expert driven, encouraging the integration of soft ware, social software and multi media in an exciting, engaging, experiential journey of shared knowledge
