Documentation
 During or at the end of a period of mobility, achieved and
assessed learning outcomes must be confirmed by the
assessor in the host institution.
 Assessment practices (including those tied to the
documentation of assessment results) should reflect
those described in the Memorandum of
Understanding and Learning Agreement.
Documentation
 Documentation should also be provided on any differences
between targeted and achieved learning outcomes and/or
any changes to the agreed assessment procedures.
 At the end of the WBL period , all related documentation is
either handed over to the individual learner.
Personal Transcript
In many cases, assessment results and related documentation will be
used to inform the process of developing a Personal Transcript in which
the learning and skills acquired during a (short or long-duration) mobility
period are presented for an individual learner.
The Europass Mobility document can be used as Personal Transcript
to document and validate the knowledge, skills and competences
gained within the framework of the mobility measure.
Europass Mobility is a standard European document.

What is Europass?
Five documents to make your skills and qualifications
clearly and easily understood in Europe:
Two documents freely accessible:
 The Curriculum vitae helps you present your skills and
qualifications effectively and clearly.
Create your CV (+ cover letter) online.
 The Language Passport is a self-assessment tool for
language skills and qualifications. Create your Language
Passport online.

What is Europass?
Three documents issued by education and training
authorities:
 Τhe Europass Mobility records the knowledge and skills
acquired in another European country.
 Τhe Certificate Supplement describes the knowledge
and skills acquired by holders of vocational education and
training certificates.
 Τhe Diploma Supplement describes the knowledge and
skills acquired by holders of higher education degrees.

Europass – objective:
 Ηelp citizens communicate their skills and qualifications
effectively when looking for a job or training.
 Ηelp employers understand the skills and qualifications of
the workforce.
 Ηelp education and training authorities define and
communicate the content of curricula.
Europass allows you to present your skills and
qualifications in a way that is easy to understand all
across Europe. Europass tools are free. They support you
in building and managing your learning and career paths.

Record book
 All trainees in Germany are
required to keep a record book.
This book serves as
documentation regarding the
training they receive – and is
required by the training
regulations.
Record books
 Record books are a check for the firm providing the in-
house vocational training and for the individual trainees:
Both sides can see whether the trainee has learned
everything that is important.
 Record books can thus help improve the course of the
individual’s in-house vocational training.
