- 7. What does this mean for us in UCD Library? What do we need to provide specifically, who do we need to speak to. Are we present? First thing to do is to get a presence for the Library under “University and Academic Support” in the UCD International website
- 8. UCD International will speak with their regional managers and add my name as a contact and also start to raise awareness of our resources (eLearning supports - online guides & tutorials)
- 9. Beijing-Dublin International College We have provided support for BDIC students (tours/talks) for several years Relationship built with BDIC staff and students We have been able to address local issues (e.g. no YouTube access)

Request to teach at BDIC February 2017 - UCD Library staff member to teach Stage 4 Internet of Things and Software Engineering students at BDIC Firsthand experience and testing of our resources overseas Opportunity to showcase our resources and raise awareness of staff assistance Learning curve, seeing how BDIC operates and how UCD Staff in Beijing meet the demands of the students

Summary Can we continue to support these students, sending staff to Beijing during busy periods in our calendar We are yet to know what impact we made with the students Class attendances were not consistent Technical problems with their VLE Overall we made a good impression and delivered what was requested from BDIC
