• Deployed in vehicles that frequently work in heavy traffic situations at risk of a variety of accidents, E2M

A.1.b. Lane Information and Signpost [Smart Guide]
• E2M displays the lanes and their directions using small arrows at the bottom of the map. Highlighted
arrows represent the lanes you need to take
• Signposts are displayed at the top-right of the map. The colour and style of the signposts are similar to the
real ones you can see above road or by the roadside. They show the available destinations and the number
of the road the lane leads to.

Turn guidance is one of the most important information for driving. E2M enhanced turn guidance with Popup
next guidance in order to increase instant visibility
• When next turning point is in 200m, Next Guidance indicator will be pop-up in the center of map screen.

Need to find gas station or restaurant while driving? E2M provide quick access to search a urgent destination.
Just click “current street name”, E2M will guide you to POIs along your current route.
• When an active route exists, POIs are searched along the route
• When there is no active route (destination is not selected), POIs are searched around the current position.

• After that the “Home & Office” function will always lead you home (Office) safely and quickly.
Personalize your E2M towards Smart Life. Home and Office Picture: Set your Family photo and photo of your

Night Mode
• At night, bright clear screen of the daytime mode maps would be too bright for the driver.
• Night mode maps are specially designed to complement the daytime maps but emit the right level
contrast and image with optimum clarity.
• In darkness, the navigation switches automatically to night mode, and is displayed in darker colors. The
light intensity is lessened and, therefore, will not startle you.

Home & Office Menus [Smart Click to GO]
First thing to suggest using E2M is to register your home and Office location so that Every morning and at the
end of your day, you can reach your Office and Home at one click. It will lead you to smart life with E2M.

Address Search
• To set your destination by entering its address select.
• After you select country, you can enter select city or enter select street directly. Enter the first few
letters of the City/Street name to see a list of similar names.
• E2M supports city-first and street-first address entry.
• Type the House number, or choose an intersection. If don't know the house number, but know the name
of a nearby side street, then tap on the Intersection field and enter the name of the street. E2M will
calculate a route to the intersection of the streets you have specified.

POI Search
• A Point Of Interest (POI) is a specific location that users may find useful or interesting.
• E2M supports various POIs such as services, transportation, shopping etc.
• E2M also contains predefined POI search criteria so that you can search quickly for frequently used POI
types. See the below screen.
• Special destinations nearby are special destinations that are located within a particular radius of your
current location. This means you can always find, for example, the nearest petrol station, no matter
where you are.

• Your favorite destinations can be saved as special destinations, and are then displayed on the map.
• At a glance, you can find out when you’re getting close to your favorite Italian restaurant or your friend’s
house.

Recent Destination
• One option is to pick a start or destination location from a list of the user’s recent places.
• This is a list of places recently used as start or destination points on journeys. It would also include
places captured by the user.
• For some professional drivers, this will make regular destinations quick to select, such as airports.
• The user can tap on an of the list items to select that point as the start or destination.
• NOTE: This list can only be sorted by date and alphabetically.

Multiple routing - Real route alternatives
• Once you’ve found your destination, the Multi Routing feature will show you an overview of the ways
you can go and lets you choose your preferred route based on fastest, shortest, least turning or most
economical way.
Option Description
Fastest
Gives the quickest possible route if you can travel at or near the speed limit on all roads.
Usually the best selection for fast and normal cars.
Shortest
Gives a route that has the smallest total distance of all possible routes between the route points.
Usually practical for pedestrians, cyclists or slow vehicles.
Least Turn
Results in a route with fewer turns.
With this option, user can take the highway instead of series of smaller roads or streets.

expanding the route is to keep the destination, and to add via points (intermediate destinations)

Simulation mode
• Simulation mode allows the user to view the route which has been calculated as a 3D or 2D animation.
• The control screen allows the user to change the speed of the simulation, as well as pause and finish the
simulation.
• The simulation speed can be increased and decreased in meaningful steps.
• A route simulation can only be run when a route has been calculated, but is not yet in progress.
