After brainstorming ideas, you need to edit them by choosing the most interesting and important ideas for your topic. You can add new ideas during editing by re-reading your brainstorming notes. Effective editing techniques include making annotations on ideas to keep or remove, crossing out unrelated sentences in freewriting, and crossing out or adding circles and changing lines on an idea map to refine it.

- 2. How to edit a list? Make annotations such as comments or questions, and cross out the ideas that you think shouldn’t go into your text.
- 3. How to edit freewriting? Cross out sentences or part of sentences that are not related. Add more ideas in the margin. Photography? TV direction?
- 4. How to edit a map? Cross out circles that don’t belong, and add new ones if you have new ideas. You can also change the lines.
