About the department
Electronics and Communication Engineering
graduates are qualified for professional practice or
graduate work in several areas of specialization. In
addition to fundamentals of science and
mathematics, the program provides a solid
background in Devices & Circuits, Analog and
Digital Electronics and Electromagnetic. The senior-
level classes offered include Control Systems,
 Communication Systems, Digital Signal Processing
 and Digital System Design.
Contd.
Electronics Engineering is one of the largest and
fastest growing field of engineering. It covers a
wide range of applications such as television,
 radio, computers, telecommunication etc. which
make our life easier and enjoyable. They help us
see, hear and communicate over vast distances
 and do things faster.
MISSION
To generate new knowledge by engaging in
cutting-edge research and to promote academic
growth by offering undergraduate &
postgraduate courses and to develop human
potential to its fullest extent so that intellectually
capable and imaginatively gifted leaders can
emerge in a range of professions.
Objectives
 To produce graduates who are able to practice electronics engineering
to serve state and regional industries, government agencies, or national
  and international industries.
 To produce graduates with the necessary background and technical
skills to work professionally in one or more of the following areas:
analog electronics, digital electronics, communication systems,
  computer-based systems and control systems.
 To prepare graduates for personal and professional success with
awareness of and commitment to their ethical and social
responsibilities, both as individuals and in team environments.
 To prepare graduates who are capable of maintaining and improving
their technical competence through lifelong learning, including
entering and succeeding in an advanced degree program in a field such
  as engineering, science or business.

Career Opportunities
           for Electronics Engineers
Electronics has a major role in improving productivity in
industries like oil, energy, agriculture and so many other
important sectors of economy. In steel, petroleum and
chemical industries, it is the electronic devices that direct,
control and test production processes. Health care industry
depends on electronic instruments to perform chemical tests
and to check body functions. The safety in transportation,
factories, mines and in homes rely heavily on electronics.
