- 1. Editing Log 06.01.14 Today me and my group had a look at clips we had captured and we tried to figure out what clips would be good to use and what wouldn’t. We put the clips we wanted onto Final cut pro and we organized the clips in order on the timeline. 08.01.14 Today a guy called nick from chocolate films came in to give us advice on how we can edit our clips more professionally, he taught us how to sync sound to the video clips which we really needed help with, also how to use fades and effects such as fading from clip to clip and using overlays for when someone talks we can have pictures showing up. Trimming clips accurately was very helpful with our editing process. 22.01.14 Today my group went onto the internet and we got some images of the chessmen to show, we went for the close up shots so the audience could see the finer detail. Ms Oppenheim gave us some feedback and we decided to take her advice and make a few accurate changes. 23.01.14 Today me and my group went on garage band and we created some music to put on our documentary, I think that the song is perfect for a documentary because the Lewis Chessmen are vintage pieces. I used many convention techniques to complete my documentary such as archival footage, interviews, voice over's ETC.
