We also created two production company credits in white writing on a black background to make the horror film opening more professional and inform audiences, as is typical. Finally, we included the actors' names in the first two shots to establish who plays the characters, which follows convention for horror film openings.

- 2. Adding Titles On Final Cut Pro we added basic titles to our horror film opening. We placed them after the idents but before the film opening began. This a conventional place to find titles because it is a stereotypical way of the audience recognising the film is about to begin.
- 3. Credits to the Producers To make our horror film opening professional we created two production companies and displayed their names in white writing on a black background. This is a very conventional feature of the beginning of any film, as it informs the audience of the production company and advertises the company at the same time.
- 4. Actors’ Names As part of the final editing stage we added the actors’ names who starred in our horror opening. These titles were shown in the first two shots of our horror opening. It is conventional to have the actors’ names shown at the beginning because it establishes who plays the characters that will appear in the film.
