Quality Guidelines for processes and practices in EPS Registration procedures that include: A clear statement of expectations of learner An orientation program/service for those desiring it Management of student records for: Documentation of student achievement in each course and at completion of a program confidential treatment of records Student access to records
Assistance with the technologies being used ,i.e., The purpose of the technology Skills and knowledge required to manipulate and interact with the technologies being used Instructional strategies that is: Provide prompt,constructive feedback to students Deliberately use synchronous and/or asynchronous learning tools
Assessment of learning that is: Authentic,i.e.,accurate representation of the contexts encountered in the field of study  Frequent and timely Appropriate and responsive to the needs of the learners In various forms Conducted by trained assessors
Technologies and other ICT-are appropriately used to: Meet national and international standards for students with disabilities Contact between students and faculty,students and students,and larger learning community Flexible opportunities for student collaboration The opportunity for students to interact with experts of fields
Quality Guidelines for inputs and resources  Curriculum content is: Credible with sources identified Balanced and free of bias Updated consistently and routinely Culturally sensitive Consistent with current copyright laws of the provider
Teaching/learning materials are: Prepared by qualified content experts working with qualified design experts Readily available Learner friendly Interesting in content and layout Well organized Free of racial,class,age and gender bias Accessible to those with disabilities Free from errors
Learning materials and delivery reflect sound technical design so that they are: Navigable Easily updateable and frequently updateable Complemented by multimedia,rather then distracted by them Sensitive to bandwidth constraints of students Compliant with current technology and ICT standards
A complete learning package includes: Course description Learning objective Assessment and completion requirements Information about instructor Learning/lecture notes and additional learning resources Course activities and assignments
Quizzes and examinations Access to answers for questions/quizzes A framework for portfolio development
