This document discusses using technology and web tools to create authentic opportunities for English language learners (ELLs) to apply their English skills. It suggests publishing student work, which allows for real language application, challenges, collaboration, and positive feedback. Various tools are presented, such as websites for publishing, audio/video recording and calling, visual presentation, digital cameras, and the iPhone/iPod Touch. The goal is to create a meaningful learning environment where ELLs can practice real communication.
