- 1. Email Account Setup Setting up your account is easy – this tutorial shows you how. After you apply for an email account on the Teacher’s Guide, you will receive an email that looks something like this: Hi Colin, You have a new account at INTERLINK Language Center Your username is cturnbull and your temporary password is S8H=TXh7 Your new email address is cturnbull@interlink.edu You can sign in to INTERLINK Language Center services at: http://www.google.com/a/interlink.edu
- 2. Email Account Setup Go to the URL http://www.google.com/a/interlink.edu either by clicking on the link in the email message or by typing or pasting the URL into your browser. The screen you see will look something like this. 1. Copy and paste or type your full email address (for example, cturnbull@interlink.edu in the Email box 2. Copy and paste or carefully type your temporary password in the Password box exactly as given (for example, S8H=TXh7). Your password is case-sensitive. 3. Click Sign In
- 3. Email Account Setup You should then see a screen that looks something like this. Click I accept. Continue to my account. to proceed.
- 4. Email Account Setup For your protection, your assigned password is temporary and you must change it the first time you log into your account. On this screen you change your temporary password into a permanent password that you choose so that nobody else can access your account. Type your temporary password here (not your username) Create a new password and type it here. Write it down and keep it in a safe place – you're the only one who knows it and without it you cannot log into your account. Type your new password again here to confirm it Click Submit
- 5. Email Account Setup You should then see the following screen. Click Let’s get started. To get to the email panel, click Gmail.
- 6. Email Account Setup Your email screen looks like this. You can manage your mail any time by returning to http://www.google.com/a/interlink.edu. You can also do things like set up your account to be accessed with an email client (such as Outlook or Thunderbird) or have all your email forwarded to another account. Click the Settings icon to see all your options. When you are finished using your account, log out by clicking the icon next to your username. For more information on how to use all of your Google Apps, visit http://learn.googleapps.com/ THE END
