This document discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using emails and blogs in ESL classrooms. It notes that emails allow for easy communication between teachers and students and allow students to ask questions and send assignments. However, emails can also be misunderstood if abbreviations are used and sometimes emails are not received. Blogs provide opportunities for student participation and discussion, but require internet access and comments must be expressed carefully to avoid misinterpretation since blogs are public. Both tools can enhance students' reading and writing skills if used properly.
