Technologies like iPads and smart boards are being increasingly used in classrooms because they allow students to take a more active role in learning compared to passive learning, and help teachers assist other students by making some students more self-directed in their education.

- 2. Technologies in the classroom can be a great experience for students because they play in an active role instead of a passive role when acquiring information. Two of the technologies that are becoming integrated into the classrooms are Ipad's and smart boards.
- 5. With the new Ipad's and smart boards the teachers can have the students become more proactive in their learning, thus freeing up the teacher to help other students.
