i.e. how “technical” to get for the average “citizen data analyst”.
3. Digital Transformation will begin to become a Business As Usual (BaU) way of doing business.
4. The “Cloud First” Database approach will continue to grow, with the relational database
continuing to be an unsung hero driving the majority of usage.
5. Database platforms will become more “Best of Breed”, i.e. “both-and”, rather than “either or”
as platforms mix the best of relational, columnar, data lake storage, etc. (e.g. Data Lakehouse).
