- 5. Measuring site My group mate Alisha was in charged of measuring the depth of the pond and the legth and width of the site. Surprisingly, the pond was exactly 10m x 10m. It fits the requirements of the brief.

- 9. Most interesting part about my site Not a lot of frogs Only able to see one on the first day and one on the second day, could be the same frog Couldn’t take a picture of the frog clearly because it was hiding in a very dark spot The frog is resting under the hut in a dark spot

- 11. • Undergoes incomplete metamorphosis • Has 6 legs • Body is furry • Nymphs/larvae are aquatic • Usually found around • Feeds on mosquitoes, flies, bees, ants, butterflies etc. • Multicoloured eyes • Can fly up to 10-15 mph • Considered one of the most fastest insects • Breathes through it’s rectum My insect - Dragonfly

My plant – Sugar Palm • Also known as Pokok Kabung • It is a large palm with single, thick, black hairy fibrous trunk and a crown consisting of 15 to 20 huge leaves • Fruits can only be harvested during Hari Raya • Grows on land • Fruits can be found in ABCs (ice kacang) • A type of palm tree • Leaf sheath can be used to make durable rope that is fire and sea water resistant • It’s roots can be boiled to sooth toothache

- 21. My 5 Senses when I'm at my site See - A lot of dragonflies flying around, drinking from the pond The dragonfly was still able to fly after we released it
- 22. My 5 Senses when I'm at my site Smell – The pond gives quite an odd scent. It’s as if someone forgot to was their toilet for several days and just left it like that.

- 24. My 5 Senses when I'm at my site Taste - Meals provided by the resort was okay, 5/10. I have also tasted the water from the pond. It’s tasteless but stagnant. Rice Orange Beansprout Curry Chicken
- 25. My 5 Senses when I'm at my site Feel – My site is quite a hot location. And there was no shades other than being on the hut. But I used a fan to keep myself cool.

Pond Ecosystem • I noticed that the ecosystem topic i learnt from high school exists in this very pond. • Algae are the producer • Tadpoles are the primary consumer • Dragonflies and fish are the secondary consumer • Frogs and Birds are also secondary consumers as they are also preyed on but they feed on dragonflies as well
