Late assignments will lose one letter grade (or the equivalent number of points) per day. All readings and links are on the BbLearn Project 4 page. Due Date Complete the Following Monday - Sunday 1. Read Project 5 Assignment Sheet and choose internship, entry-level position, or graduate program as the focus of your professional identity materials. 2. Watch the Project 5 Slidedocs 1, 2, and 3. 3. Read the articles, “Tip Sheet: Building a Great Student Profile” and “How to Protect Your Privacy While Job Hunting.” 4. Create a data file (paper or electronic) and collect employment information, course projects, volunteer experience, and awards/activities. 5. Compose a working resume using an appropriate organizational style (Chronological, Functional, or Combination) that includes detailed descriptions of the information from your data file. 6. Choose a position description for an internship or entry-level position, or a specific graduate program. 7. Create a targeted resume (or CV) matching your qualifications and skills to those described in the position description or graduate web-site. 8. Draft a cover letter in response to the internship, entry-level position, or graduate program. 9. Create (or update) a LinkedIn profile targeted to potential employers or graduate committees. 10.Revise all professional identity materials to be completely free of error. Sunday, 6/24 1.
