The engineering department was set to increase the services
provide to our customers.
Its activities focus on:

Our technical department, using the latest technologies, works closelyll with our customers to define and develop
the appropriate solutions to their needs.
The latest technologies for 3D design and simulation are used.
The necessary feed and solidification simulations are carried out.
The execution plans of the models for their manufacture in CAM are defined.
In BILBOBUL we attach particular importance to the design
phase (engineering and design) and finish (try out and quality).
We have an extensive, technical and specialized team that
allows us to carry out all these activities in an internal way
without the need to outsource service. As we combine new
technologies and our knowledge we guarantee the service
and quality care and first hand.

MELTING AREA
The mmmeeelltttiinnggg ppprroooccceeessss oof scrap and ferroalloys is carried out in the medium frequency induction electric furnaces.
From our origins, we produce steel exclusively through electric furnaces, being able to start from scrap as raw material if
our customers wish to.
BILBOBUL is a sustainable company that contributes in a remarkable way to the preservation
of the environment.

CUTTING, MACHINING,
GRINDING AND COATING
Demoulding
Cast parts demoulding occurs with the separation of the moulding sands from the cast parts, the operation is carried out
by vibration process.
Shot peening
Cast iron parts are introduced into a shot blasting machine to remove the residual sand.
Removing riser
The cutting operations to eliminate the inputs and feed channels from the part and the sprues are made with air carbon
arc electrodes.
Heat treatment
The casting parts are processed to special heat treatments in order to achieve the mechanical characteristics of strength,
hardness and toughness according to the requirements of our customers.
Deburring
IIn this process the operations are carried out to eliminate existing burrs in the part.

Since our formation we have committed
ourselves to quality, which translates into an

Within BILBOBUL we have modern control
equipment, as well as our own internal
laboratory and if necessary support from
advanced Metallurgical Technology Centres
that allow us to carry out any type of tests.

In BILBOBUL we are in constant process of analysis and
survey new methodologies, trends and technological
resources, in order to be able to apply them to our
processes and products.
BILBOBUL participates in a joint projo ect with several
companies to make a qualitative leap towards intelligent
manufacturing and 4.0 Industry. A journey to the technological
future supported by ICTs and digital management.
