The superintendent of the School District of the City of York presents a new entry plan with the goal of transforming the district into a "premier school district." The 5-goal plan focuses on establishing support systems to ensure students are healthy, safeguards to ensure safe learning environments, improving instruction to actively engage students, ensuring students have access to personalized support, and challenging students with a rigorous curriculum to prepare them for success beyond high school. The superintendent will lead the implementation of the plan and 10 pathways to achieve continuous improvement through a whole-child approach, data-driven decisions, professional learning communities, and more.
