Introduction 4 • Bufferzone is the area around National Park, Wildlife reserve for meeting the needs for local people in regards to wildlife (HMG, 1973) • Environment Assessment act as a bridge between economic prosperity and environmental sustanability (Joshi, 2017) • Environment Impact Assessment makes economic development project environmentally sound and sustainable (Bhatt & Khanal, 2009) • IEE reports finds the biophysical, socio- economic, cultural and environmental impacts and ways to mitigate (HMG, 1993)

- 15. 15 Conclusion • Nepal is Pioneer in Bufferzone management in many regards • Environment Assessment wave started after Rachel Carson and now is almost mainstreamed with law base • Environement Assessment is a bridge connecting Development and Conservation • IEE report tries to analyse the alternatives by quantifying the impact through National Environmental Impact Guideline 1993 • We have IEE of Every Bufferzone management plan of Nepal
