Equivalent Equations
Equivalent equations are equation which have the same solution
sets if a certain operation is applied to the equations. Equivalent
equations are symbolized by the symbol ”⇔”
Equation 3x + 6 = 9 and x + 2 = 3
have the same solution. So, they
are equivalent.
