Main Points of Ethics:
 Honesty – Always tell the truth.
 Respect – Treat everyone kindly and fairly.
 Responsibility – Do what you promise and own your actions.
 Fairness – Don’t cheat or take advantage of others.
 Kindness – Help others and be caring.
 Loyalty – Support and stand by your family, friends, or team.
 Integrity – Do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
 Justice – Make sure everyone is treated equally.
 Courage – Speak up for what is right, even when it’s hard.
 Empathy – Try to understand how others feel.
2. Classroom Ethics
“Where learning meets character.”
Classroom ethics means behaving in a good, respectful, and fair way in school or
during learning.
Listen to Learn, Not Just to Reply
Respect teachers and classmates by truly listening.
Every voice matters, every idea counts.
Speak with Purpose
Use kind words.
Share your thoughts clearly and with confidence.
Say sorry when wrong, and thank you when helped.
Be Curious, Not Just Correct
Ask questions with a curious heart.
It's okay not to know — it's not okay not to try.
Leave a Place Better Than You Found It
Clean up your desk, your mind, and your mistakes.
Take care of your space and respect school property.
Value Time — Yours and Others'
Be on time, not just in class but in effort.
Use every moment to grow a little.
Share More Than Just Stationery
Share your ideas, your support, and your encouragement.
Uplift others. A win for one can be a win for all.
Do Right, Even When It’s Hard
Don’t copy, cheat, or lie—even if others do.
Your honesty builds your strength.
Turn Competition into Collaboration
Compete to improve yourself, not to bring others down.
Help others rise as you rise.
Grow in Kindness Daily
Compliment someone, help someone, include someone.
Kindness creates the strongest classroom.
Be a Light
Be someone others feel safe and happy around.
Smile more, complain less, and make someone’s day.
How to Communicate in the Classroom
1. Listen First
Pay attention when someone is speaking.
Don’t interrupt.
Show you’re listening (eye contact, nodding).
2. Speak Clearly
Use a calm, polite voice.
Don’t mumble or shout.
Think before you speak.
3. Use Kind Words
Be respectful, even if you disagree.
Say "please", "thank you", and "sorry" when needed.
Avoid rude or sarcastic comments.
4. Ask Questions
If you don’t understand something, ask!
It shows you’re interested and helps everyone learn.
5. Work Well in Groups
Share your ideas.
Listen to others' ideas.
Be patient and cooperative
6. Respect Different Opinions
Don’t laugh at or judge someone’s answer.
Everyone has a right to speak.
7. Use Body Language Wisely
Smile, nod, and keep open posture.
Avoid rolling eyes or crossing arms in anger.
Bonus Tip:
Good communication = Listening + Speaking with respect
How Much Sarcasm is Okay in the Classroom?
A little, carefully used sarcasm can be okay—but too much or the wrong kind can hurt
others or damage trust.
✅ When Sarcasm Can Work:
Light and Friendly: Used between people who know each other well and
understand it’s a joke.
To Lighten the Mood: A teacher might use gentle sarcasm to make students
laugh or relax.
With Clear Tone and Context: If everyone clearly knows it’s a joke, not an
insult.
❌ When Sarcasm is Not Okay:
To Shame or Embarrass: Sarcasm that targets someone’s mistake, answer, or
personality.
To Show Power: Teachers or students using sarcasm to put others down or
show power
When It's Confusing: Confusing and hurtful jokes
Golden Rule
“If your sarcasm could hurt feelings, skip it.”
