For a media studies coursework, the student produced a music video for an alternative rock song along with a website and digipak featuring the same band. A grainy, greyscale theme was used across all three products to tie them together and create a clear image of the band. This included textured grey backgrounds and fonts on the website and digipak, as well as grainy footage in the music video portraying a gritty suburban culture reflective of the genre. The consistent theme across products helped viewers easily identify the band.
