Joe Chapman learned about various software and hardware technologies through constructing a magazine product. Some of the key software used included Photoshop, PowerPoint, SurveyMonkey and Blogger. Hardware included cameras, memory sticks, computers and an iPod Touch. While some aspects like Blogger and SurveyMonkey helped save time, technology issues like memory sticks crashing or Photoshop crashing caused delays and lost work. Overall both benefits and limitations of the digital technologies emerged through the process.
