- 1. EVALUATION QUESTION 6 What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
- 2. Equipment ■ During the filming stage for our opening sequence, we operated with two cameras; a Canon and a Nikon. As these were different cameras, they worked very differently therefore I had to learn how to set up and film with each one before we started filming on set. ■ In order to produce clear and high quality footage, we need to know how to adjust the camera settings for example; the lens focus - to sharpen the image, the ISO level - which adjusts the camera’s sensitivity to light and the Rule of Thirds - in order to compose the footage well in frame.

Online ■ We used Blogger as a form to present our work on the Pre- Production which would include the research and planning for our final product. ■ We learnt how to record and produce videos on YouTube which would be embed into a blog post on our blog. ■ We needed to develop skills which would include; how to insert and embed clips, gifs and images.
- 4. Software ■ Being new to Final Cut Pro, I had to learn how to use and operate around the program. ■ I had to learn how to import, cutting, extending and manipulating raw clips to develop them into a higher quality product. ■ I also had to learn how to import sound files and mp4 clips, in order to use them in my editing.
- 5. PROsCONs The cons of using the Nikon D7000, it takes a while to set up and adjust to different lighting. The Pros of using the Nikon D7000, it produces a high quality footage that is a raw 4k. The cons of using the Canon is that it a large camera to carry around and is difficult to hold. The Pros of using the Canon is easier to set up and adjust to different lightings and conditions. The cons of the editing software, Final Cut Pro is limited to functions and effects that can be applied to the footage. The Pro of the editing software, Final Cut Pro is very straight forward and easy to use where importing and manipulating footage is as simple as pressing a button.
