I learned how to properly operate a video camera, including settings like white balancing and exposure to ensure correct lighting, as well as focusing functions and camera angles that enhance characters. I also became proficient with Apple's video editing software Final Cut, which was confusing at first but became more convenient as the functions were mastered. Additionally, blogs proved to be an efficient and easy to use technology for broadcasting our work in a professional manner.

- 1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
- 2. Video Camera • Initially I had to learn about how to operate a video camera properly and effectively. • This involved learning about settings such as white balancing and exposure settings as to ensure the correct lighting for the location. • I also learned basic focusing functions and camera angles that would enhance the look and portrayal of characters in the film. For example using a low angle shot to make a character seem more powerful.
- 3. Apple Mac computers • The next technology we used was the AppleMac computer with the software final cut. • We used this to edit our film. Initially the programme is quite confusing however towards the end the functions became less of a hastle and more of a convenience. • The clear to see video image of how the video looked as it stood was very useful as you could see how the video was progressing and what needed changing.
- 4. Blogs • The technology that we have used to broadcast the work has been our group and individual blogs. • The blogging system is extremely efficient easy to use and presents the work in a professional way.
