- 1. Evaluation task 5 – How did we attract/address our audience?
- 2. How our film will attract the target audience As our target audience is in the 16-25 age range, one of the main ways in which we are going to attract them is with our main female lead. The main female lead within the production is in charge of a group of male undercover detectives and is a very powerful and important character. This would attract the female audience within our age range, who would want to see a female as the main character and as a strong character. Due to the fact that the main female character is extremely good looking, this would attract the male audience in between the age range.
- 3. Female audience We deliberately chose a strong female character to attract the female audience. The feminist approach of our lead female character will be appealing to women in our age range to see the production. Many women would also be able to relate to this character and look up to her as she is very important in a mainly male based profession.
- 4. Male audience We deliberately added the action at the beginning of the production to appeal to the male audience within our age range. We also used the extremely attractive female lead character which would attract the male audience to come and watch the film. Although the main character is a feminist, which may not be seen as attractive by the male audience, she is wearing extremely seductive clothing which would again add another incentive for the male audience to want to watch the film.
