The student learned several things in progressing from their preliminary task to the final magazine product. They gained knowledge about the magazine industry that helped them create a strong concept. They developed interview writing skills beyond a standard question and answer format. The student also learned about how post-modernism applies to the media industry and about common typographical styles used in different magazines.

- 1. Music MagazineLooking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
- 2. Technological skillsI haven’t really gained any technological skills from point Prelim to final product, as many programs I used I already had a sound knowledge in.
- 3. Media industry knowledgeI’ve learned a lot of information about the magazine industry, that has helped me create a sound magazine concept. Without this knowledge I don’t think my magazine would be it the standard it at.

Thing I’ve learntInterview writing skills – I’ve developed skills in writing interviews in a alternative style to the standard question answer format.Post-modernism in-the-context of the magazine industry – I knew quite a bit about post-modernism from my art studies (I was doing personal studies on the subject for my Art A level), but the subject is very large and I gained some direct knowledge relating to the media industry.Typographical styles - I’ve learnt a lot about typography styles used in different magazine and conventions related to them.
