Evolution of IT in 2020
• In the year 2020 we will be having computers which can -
1. Worn around our body.
2. Change into different devices.
3. Be controlled by thoughts.
4. Have artificial intelligence.
5. Electronic money.
• In the following slides these terms will be explained.

Wearable technology
 In the future we will be able to bend and wear the computers that we
are using.
 This can be very useful if we have to move around and carry your
computer.
 Even now a few phone companies have invented phones which fits
into the hand.
 Many business people can find this useful if they are working in
their car or an aero plane.
5/12/2016 3Saurabh Tiwari
Wearable technology
 All the computers will be made of flexible and strong elements like
nano-scale materials which is 10 times stronger than steel.
 They will also have self cleaning materials which will slip away any
dirt or liquid falls on it .
 These materials are called a morph which is very dirt repellent also
can fit according to your size.

Transforming computers
 In the year 2020 the computers will be able transform according to
your wish.
 A computer will be able to become a watch with the help of a
material like spider silk which is 10 times stronger than Kevlar, the
strongest yet flexible.

Controlled by thoughts
 The computers in the future will be able to function on our thinking .
 We might have a headband through which the sensors will read a
simple on, off message and activate it.
 There would be a computer inside it which can translate the code into
computer language which the receiver will receive the code through a
transmitter and function accordingly.
 Scientists have already invented a device which can read our
emotions.

Artificial intelligence
 The computers in the future will be able to think on their own an
also have IQ.
 They are also now known as robot.
 This will help them to think and decide about what we, the humans,
will need even before we order them to this will save our time in the
future.
 This is probably one of the most advancing field in the history of
humans.
 Now we also have invented a robot called humanoids which look
exactly like us .
 In the future the robots will replace the waiters.

Electronic money
The people of the world might stop using
money.
This might come before 2020 itself as many
companies as starting to provide it now.
All the money can be stored in mobile phone
itself .
This can reduce the thing we carry around with
us.
5/12/2016 12Saurabh Tiwari
Electronic money
There are a machines in the shops over which
you just have to tap your phone.
This money cant be stole by normal thieves as
it can be deactivated when needed and be
blocked for a time.
We can now forget about misplacing our credit
cards also as we just need to have our phone in
hand.

Positive impacts of IT
 New technology form a gateway for new inventions.
 Easy access to information anywhere anytime on the go.
 Less requirement for transportation , more can be done at home;
example=working at home via VPNs instead of attending office.
5/12/2016 17Saurabh Tiwari
Negative impacts of IT
 Increase cost for expansion of network mediums. More traffic on the
networks.
 People will get lazy and completely dependent on technology.
 Complete loss of privacy as we all become part of a single organism.
