This paper explores the concept of pareto-optimality within the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) using real data from a public transport survey in Mersin, Turkey. It critiques traditional eigenvector methods for deriving decision-maker opinions and proposes a modified vector that could yield better decision outcomes. The study also assesses the effect of weight score modifications on the AHP structure and emphasizes the relevance of pareto tests in the decision-making process.
