This document presents a novel parsimonious best worst method (p-bwm) designed to evaluate travel mode choices with reduced cognitive effort and time for evaluators. The model simplifies the conventional best worst method (bwm) by decreasing the number of required pairwise comparisons, successfully tested in Mersin, Turkey. Validation through expert surveys shows that p-bwm saves significant time in evaluating travel alternatives compared to traditional methods.
