technologies, the ROTC Cyber Research program provides cadets with opportunities
to research and solve real world problems in cyber security and cyber counter

a covert communications network that can operate at the enemy s operational base
and gather intelligence on enemy communications and activities. This effort is in

Important Battles of the Revolutionary War
The two most important battles in the Revolutionary war were the Battle of
Saratoga in the north and the Siege of Yorktown in the south. These two battles
were parts of the Revolutionary War, which was a civil war with two sides the
British Loyalists and the Patriots. These two battles are important because they were
major advances for the Patriot side of the war.
The Battle of Saratoga was fought on October 17, 1777 in Saratoga, New York. This
battle was known as the turning point in the war for the Patriots side and when the
French decided to get involved and team up with the Patriots. The Patriots won the
Battle of Saratoga when 5,895 British and Hessian (allies with the British) troops
with General Burgoyne leading them surrendered their weapons. Without this victory
the British would have been able to get reinforcements and continue their way
through the north with the divide and conquer plan and the Patriots would have not
gotten the support of the French troops which helped the war fold out the way it did.
Thus making the Battle of Saratoga one of the most important battles in the
Revolutionary War due to reinforcements from the French making this the turning

Act Reflection
One struggle I had with the ACT was managing my time. I wanted to get all I could
out of every problem to answer it as best I could. That was hard to do with a fixed
amount of time. The mathematics portion of the ACT was also a challenge for me.
There were a lot of formulas that I had to memorize and know when and how to use
them. Before I took the ACT I did take an ACT prep class that was run by my high
school, which gave me tips and tricks on how to do better with each section. The extra
preparation did help a little but I still struggled with time management and math.

by ideological differences. There were two main superpowers that shaped
perceptions of the rest of the world. One was the United States, who had come out
of the war fairly unscathed, which was due to little to no conflict directly on its
soil, in addition to the possession of atomic weapons and a strong navy and air
force. The other major player was the Soviet Union, whose industry was recovered
during the first few years of the war in addition to a powerful army. These
superpowers had a large impact on other countries due to their ideological differences:
the United States favored a capitalistic democracy while the Soviet Union believed in
communism. One country that was heavily influenced by both superpowers at the
same time was Korea, which was ultimately split into two halves. The United States

Through these characteristics Arthur Miller illustrates the theme lies and deceit.
First, Abigail Williams protected herself in court by using her lying nature. Abigail
Williams is told to be a deceiving person when she is introduced. In the italics it
says, ...Abigail Williams, seventeen, enters a strikingly beautiful girl, an orphan,
with an endless capacity for dissembling (833). By saying that she always
dissembles things it is saying that she is always lying deceiving people. This shows
when she is in court framing others of witchcraft after she told Mr. John Proctor that
the illnesses of the girls had nothing to do with it. When Proctor confesses this...
Throughout the story she is a controlling person. When the girls begin to tell
Abigail that they wanted to admit to more than what was told she shows her
controlling attitude. In Act One the true Abigail Williams character is shown
when she is scolding the other girls for even thinking about telling others about the
woods. She is controlling when she says, Now look you. All of you.... Let either of
you breathe a word, or an edge of a word, about the other things, and I will come to
you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will
shudder you (837). This shows that she is the controller of the others because she

words, one day I can live happy and think I can be eternal but death is always near. I
