SUM
Add all the numbers in a range of cells.
Syntax
SUM (number1,number 2, ...)
Number 1, number 2, ... are 1 to 255 arguments for which you want the total value or sum.
Remarks
Numbers, logical values, and text representations of numbers that you type directly into the list of
arguments are counted. See the first and second examples following.
If an argument is an array or reference, only numbers in that array or reference are counted. Empty cells,
logical values, or text in the array or reference are ignored. See the third example following.
Arguments that are error values or text that cannot be translated into numbers cause errors.

Calculate TOTAL
a) Click at cell F4
b) Highlight cell C4 until E4 > Click SUM icon
c) Click at cell F4 by using fill handle at F4, drag until F8

Average
1. Click function wizard icon.
2. Click average > click OK

3. Highlight C4 until E4
4. Press ENTER
5. By using fill handle at G4, drag until G8

VLOOKUP
1) Highlight B16 until C21.
2) Right click, and then click at Name a Range…

3) Define B16:C21 area as GRADE, then click OK
4) Click cell H4.

5) Then click Function Wizard icon . Then Function Wizard windows will appear.
6) Choose and click VLOOKUP. Then click NEXT.
7) For Lookup_value, click cell GRADE. For Table_array, click G4. For
Col_index_num, type 2. Then click OK.

COUNTIF

1. Click C25
2. Then click Function Wizard icon Then Function Wizard windows will appear.

3. Then, the Insert Function will appear.
4. Choose and click COUNTIF . Then click OK.

5. For Value 1, highlight column GRADE. For Value 2, click cell B25 (GRADE = A). Then click OK.
